The project includes an installation in the Isabella Cannon Room in the Center for the Arts that will be on display through mid-February. 

Throughout the month of January, Elon is hosting a wide variety of events and "mini-seminars" surrounding the theme of celebrating human diversity. 

The former NPR correspondent had been slated to deliver a lecture about The Race Card Project, an initiative she launched in 2010 to spark conversation about race in America.

The award-winning journalist and founder of The Race Card Project will speak at Elon on Jan. 10.

The Liberal Arts Forum hosts Judge Anna Blackburne-Rigsby for a guest lecture on how a trusted, diverse judiciary is critical to ensuring our democracy. This evening in Whitley Auditorium, 7:30 p.m.

Commemorative program will be performed in Yeager Recital Hall at 7:30 p.m.

Robert Bullard, described as the father of environmental justice, delivers an Earth Day lecture titled "Climate Change as a Human Rights Issue: Why Equity Matters" in McKinnon Hall, Moseley Center at 7:30 p.m.

The Global Neighborhood Film Series continues in the Global Commons Media Room 103 at 7 p.m.

Michael Messner, professor of sociology and gender studies at University of Southern California, will present "More Men: From Violence to Anti-Violence" in Whitley Auditorium at 7 p.m.
