Nobel Peace Prize laureate Muhammad Yunus received the Elon University Medal for Entrepreneurial Leadership during an April 4 ceremony.

Microfinance pioneer Muhammad Yunus, who shared the Nobel Peace Prize with the bank he founded, headlined Elon’s 2012 Convocation for Honors.

Gary Palin, executive director of the Doherty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and senior lecturer of entrepreneurship in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, moderated a March 30 panel discussion in the 2012 MIT Global Startup Workshop in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Elon community is invited to attend the ceremony for The Elon University Medal for Entrepreneurial Leadership in recognition of Muhammad Yunus, 2006 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, founder of the Grameen Bank and chairman of the Yunus Centre.
