Jenna Michael '11, author of "Let's Choose Less: A Young Family's Guide to Simply Living" shared advice and best practices with fellow mothers of the Elon Charlotte community

The Elon Charlotte community came together to celebrate a special Elon Day College Coffee.

Dr. Veronica Marciano will serve as program director and Dr. Timothy Lietz as medical director for a new physician assistant studies graduate program planned for launch in 2027 at Elon University’s national campus in North Carolina’s largest city.

Nine students volunteered at local non-profits in Charlotte, North Carolina Jan. 13-17.

Led by faculty members David Bockino, Colin Donohue and Staci Saltz, 45 first-year Communications Fellows traveled to Charlotte in November, visiting WSOC-TV, Pillar4 Media and NASCAR’s headquarters, and connecting with alumni working in the Queen City.

Six students were awarded funds for the Elon University Queen City Internship Grant.

As part of their Event and Venue Management class, and in collaboration with the Charlotte Knights and the Matthews Help Center, students organized a youth sports gear drive during the Light the Knights festival at Truist Field.

Jesse Gordon '26 serves as an editorial intern at Sports Business Journal.

Elon University was recently featured in a report by Business North Carolina, highlighting the university's expansion into Charlotte.

Attendees discussed navigating elections, activism and finding community in a polarized political context.
