Campus Compact has named Fiona Zahm '20 a recipient of a Newman Civic Fellowship, which recognizes and supports community-oriented students and is named for Frank Newman, a founder of Campus Compact.

Kirstin Ringelberg, professor of art history, developed and co-chaired the flagship conference's first panel devoted entirely to trans and gender variant art histories.

Among medium-sized colleges and universities, Elon ranked No. 16 for the number of Peace Corps volunteers it produced in 2017. Last year, Elon Law launched a new fellows program to help returned Peace Corps volunteers become lawyers. 

The $34,000 grant is from the Colonial Academic Alliance, which seeks to link the colleges and universities that make up the Colonial Athletic Association. 

The professor of music had an article published in the professional trumpet journal.

Elon faculty members Tony Weaver, Caroline Ketcham and Eric Hall will partner with the university’s nine fellow Colonial Athletic Association member institutions to study access issues for student-athletes to high-impact educational practices.

Meghan Peterson ’18, relying on advice and support from professors and staff in the Student Professional Development Center, was recently accepted into four of the nation’s best pharmacy schools.

The Nonprofit Leadership Community of Professional Practice becomes the third advising track within Elon College, the College of Arts and Sciences.
