The Elon Innovation Council is now accepting applications for Fall 2024 Innovation grants, an opportunity for Elon students, faculty and staff to think creatively about issues relevant to the university.

The history major and native of Greensboro, North Carolina, found an unexpected path at Elon, which led to the creation of his start-up, Found Focus.

Titled “Game On: How Sports Media Grew Up, Sold Out, and Got Personal with Billions of Fans,” Bockino’s book – published on April 1 – is the first comprehensive, general audience history of the sports media industry.

Thanks to the grant, the Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education will host the conference, which will focus on inclusive technology tools and partnerships with multilingual students, families and communities.

The strategic grant from Elon’s Innovation Council will support organizers as they seek to expose a broader audience to the technological and professional potential of the growing drone industry.

Elon Innovates has announced grant awards totaling $16,000 to seven proposals for the implementation of innovative projects on campus.
