The human service studies major from South Carolina excelled in the classroom and on the field this fall for the Elon Phoenix football team, earning him honors from the Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association. 

A team visit to the Central American nation last spring inspired "Costa Rica Through the Lens: Reflections From Elon University Women’s Soccer" with contributions from players, coaches and staff.

Elon University's Coralea Geraniotis and Nick Ciolkowski were named the Colonial Athletic Association's top freshmen in cross country for 2015, with Ciolkowski also taking home Athlete of the Year honors after claiming the league's individual men's title.

By the end of the calendar year, Tom Parham's "The Little Green Book of Tennis" will have been provided to high school tennis players in 20 North Carolina counties.

A 3-0 win over Winthrop on Thursday night sends the Elon Phoenix to Clemson University on Sunday for a 6 p.m. game against the second-ranked Tigers in the 2016 NCAA Men's Soccer Championship tournament.
