Most residents of Brown Hall, Building E in The Oaks residential neighborhood, have been cleared to return to their apartments.

Buses and shuttles will begin operating Friday, Aug. 22. All Bio Buses will resume a normal schedule at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26. 

Dozens of members of the Elon community gathered at the edge of Lake Mary Nell to remember university automotive mechanic Ed Watkins.

University staff recently installed solar panels on a cart used by grounds crews to extend the distance they can travel between battery charges while reducing operational expenses.

The campus community gathered Tuesday morning in the Numen Lumen Pavilion to celebrate the life of Ed Watkins, an auto mechanic who died April 18 while fishing with a friend from Elon University’s Physical Plant.
