Sponsored by the Gender and LGBTQIA Center, the event marked its 11th anniversary on Friday, May 5, and offered an opportunity to honor outstanding students, faculty and staff.

Division of Student Life members were honored at their annual celebration for leadership, contributions and successes on May 3.

Elon faculty members and a local nonprofit leader spoke about their personal experiences with mentorship and how they used those lessons with those they mentor today.

Three Elon adjunct faculty of music come together to present a recital filled with incendiary music, performed by three fiery women, about the emotions and dimensions of love.

The 16th Elon Cares will occur on Jan. 11 with two performances at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids, a national organization focused on HIV/AIDS support and advocacy.

The grant to the Gender & LGBTQIA Center (GLC) from the Department of Justice's Office of Violence Against Women will support the expansion of Elon's efforts to reduce gender-based violence.

Rev. Cody J. Sanders will lecture on the topic of “Faithfully Queer: Re-Storying LGBTQ+ Religious & Spiritual Experience."

Five members of the Elon community were honored for their contributions to the university and the LGBTQ community during the Nov. 5 ceremony.

"Textual Intercourse: Present-Day Problems, Rabbinic Sources, and Relational Ethics" will take place on Nov. 3 at 4:30 p.m. in the Isabella Cannon Room at the Center for Performing Arts.

The Gender and LGBTQIA Center hosts Fall Pride Event on Thursday, Oct. 28.
