April Post, Pablo Celis-Castillo and Kristin Lange from the Department of World Languages and Cultures presented their research at the annual convention and expo of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages.

The title of the Oct. 10 talk by Scott Windham, associate professor of German in the Department of World Languages and Cultures, was “Why we (still) need grammar instruction but (still) need to do it better: Grammar instruction and literacy in the L2 classroom.”

Elon hosted students and faculty from Elon and regional universities at its third annual Undergraduate Conference on Languages and Cultures on Saturday, Sept. 22.

Elon's chapter of the Delta Phi Alpha German national honor society hosted an induction ceremony on May 4, welcoming 18 new members.

Madeline “Maddy” Wetterhall ’18 and Mitchell Bergens ’18 were the recipients of this year’s Marsilius von Inghen Award for Excellence in German Studies.
