ABSN students spent their last day at Elon on Tuesday where they walked a red carpet at an Oscar themed simulation room . Now they will be leaving Elon to work at multiple local hospitals in areas that interest them in their Pathways to Practice final nursing course.

Four hundred physical therapists, physical therapist assistants and students from across the state attended the Annual Conference at Elon on Oct. 13 and 14.

Five abstracts submitted by Elon University faculty were selected for presentation in New Orleans at the 2023 PA Education Forum.

The award honors those who have displayed a great potential in providing future contributions to the physical therapy profession.

The event was planned by Elon's leadership team overseeing a six-year, $377,800 grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute to transform first-year STEM experiences and promote belonging in STEM programs among historically underrepresented groups.

Vallabhajosula, associate professor of physical therapy education, collaborated with Ganges Valley School in Hyderabad and Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar, India to conduct a hands-on STEAM-based learning session on Biomechanics as part of National Biomechanics Day celebrations.

Over the three-day session, 18 students from Alamance-Burlington School System's middle and high schools spent time on Elon's campus learning about how food is essentially medicine.
