Crowds visited the Elon Community Garden behind the Sklut Hillel Center on Oct. 25 as an environmental studies course and Elon Hillel celebrated the season with food, face painting, photos and gobs of gourds.

On Wednesday, October 16 at 6pm Elon Hillel will host Liat Srur, NC Hillel's Israel Fellow, for a conversation about the kibbutz movement in Israel and an exploration of the Green Kibbutz Group's focus on sustainability.

The Elon Hillel 2014 Alternative Spring Break trip will be to New Orleans with the Jewish Farm School March 23-30.   Hillel is hosting 2 information sessions on the trip on Tuesday, October 8, at 3:00 or 5:15pm at the Sklut Hillel Center.

Elon Hillel asked students on Tuesday to take a stand when they hear or see others make intolerant or hateful comments that disregard the cherished values of Elon University’s inclusive community.  

Reconciling Lives: Personal Stories in the search for Multi-Faith Understanding

The program takes place at the Sklut Hillel Center from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

The Elon community is invited to join Elon Hillel to observe the Jewish holy day of Yom Kippur, which begins the evening of Sept. 13, and ends at sundown on Sept. 14.

The Elon community is invited to join Elon Hillel to celebrate and observe the Jewish holiday of Rosh HaShanah, the Jewish New Year, which begins the evening of Sept. 4, and is observed for one or two days, depending on family tradition.
