Students, faculty, and staff gathered on Feb. 7 to share a meal and listen to Professor Jason Aryeh’s presentation “Trailing my Art Alive” about the purpose and passion of dance.

Elon alumna Gail H. LaRose ’64 and her daughter Michelle LaRose, an Elon trustee, have made a $2.5 million gift to name a new student gathering space planned for the historic part of campus.

All alumni are welcome to celebrate Elon’s heritage and traditions alongside students at the annual birthday party for West Residence Hall during Homecoming weekend

Jordan Burnham, a survivor of a suicide attempt whose story on ESPN was nominated for an Emmy Award, will visit Elon University to talk with students about the stigma surrounding mental illness.

Sponsored by the Historic Neighborhood and the Department of Music, the Thursday program featured Victoria Fischer Faw and Andrew Bonner, who offered their audience an introduction to violinist Itzhak Perlman.

All alumni who live in the area or who have arrived for the weekend festivities are invited to celebrate Elon’s history and traditions with students.
