Seven Elon University faculty members published an article titled, "Undergraduate research in the global context: models and practices for high-quality mentoring" in the journal Mentoring & Tutoring: Partnership in Learning.

As part of Associate Professor David Bockino’s Through the Lens of ESPN class, 13 students traveled to Spain to tour four soccer stadiums – all legendary and impressive in their own way – while also participating in marketing meetings with three of the country’s top clubs.

The Assistant Professor of Geography was selected as the 2022-24 CSRCS Scholar to support public scholarship on religion and health.

Ferris, the Joel R. Williamson Eminent Professor of History Emeritus at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the former chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities, will present on his book and exhibit, “I AM A MAN: Photographs of the Civil Rights Movement, 1960-1970.”

The Power and Place Collaborative is a partnership between Elon University, Burlington's Mayco Bigelow Center, and the African American Cultural Arts and History Center. Students interviewed community members and edited their oral histories into short videos.

The final conference, “The Persistence of the Nightmare: Argentine Narrative of the 21st Century," was hosted by Distinguished Professor at North Carolina State University Greg Dawes at Carlton Commons on Nov. 9.

Joshua Hollands, lecturer at University College London Institute of the Americas, will be a visiting professor of history at Elon. His teaching will focus on social justice movements in the LGBTQ community in the United States.

Ringelberg joined curator Kenneth Brummel and artist/activist Ravyn Wngz to discuss Andy Warhol’s portrait series "Ladies and Gentlemen."

Faculty garner awards for Excellence in Mentoring, Service-Leadership, Teaching and Scholarship. Program and administrative assistants were recognized for hard work during COVID.

Assistant Professor of History Yidi Wu is completing a book about student activism in 1950s China.
