A weekend of reunions and celebrations brought thousands of alumni back to Elon for Homecoming 2019.

Elon alumni, students, faculty and staff celebrated the start of Homecoming Weekend and $1 million in reunion giving at the annual "Rock the Block" Homecoming celebration.

In this edition of #ElonTBT, we prepare for Homecoming by taking a look back at some of the biggest music acts to come to Elon over Homecoming Weekends of the past.

A section of East Haggard Avenue that runs through campus will be closed from 1 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1.

The Elon community is invited to contribute to a set of Phoenix wings to demonstrate how the university has lifted them up.

The app, available for Apple or Android, offers up-to-date schedules, a campus map with zoom capabilities, information about on-campus resources, on- and off-campus dining locations and hours, driving directions, social media and more.

Tickets for the event during this year's Homecoming festivities go on sale at 10 a.m. on Sept. 23 for Elon students and at 8 a.m. on Oct. 7 for members of the public.

Two major fall 2019 event dates have been confirmed. Family Weekend will kick off on Friday, Sept. 27, with events taking place throughout the weekend, and Homecoming and Reunion Weekend is Nov. 1-3.

Alumni volunteers worked with Elon to coordinate fundraising efforts and host special events on campus during Homecoming weekend, Nov. 2-4.
