Interactive Media program welcomes Class of 2012

On Aug. 1 the School of Communications welcomed 40 students to the master’s program in Interactive Media. The enrolling students compose the largest class in the program’s three-year history.

School of Communications visiting professor Brian Walsh produced a 20-minute documentary this summer about Bushwick Creek, a small inlet of water off the East River that nestles between the towns of Greenpoint and Williamsburg in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Interactive Media graduate places third in contest to redesign food label

Interactive Media graduate Bradley Mu G’11 recently placed third in a contest sponsored by the University of California-Berkeley School of Journalism that asked participants to redesign and improve the nutritional food label. His entry, along with the first and second place winners, was featured in the Well blog on the New York Times website.
