The Kernodle Center for Civic Life announces service opportunities available for students during the fall 2022 semester.

Hawthorne, a human service studies major, interned with Benevolence Farm during the eight-week Campus Alamance program.

Faculty, staff, and students gathered in Alumni Gym on Saturday, Sept. 3, to pack meals that will be distributed across the globe.  

"Powerlands" (2022) will screen at Turner Theatre on Thursday, Sept. 8, at 6 p.m., followed by a discussion with the director and a local activist.

Adventures in Leadership sessions focus on the successful transition of incoming first-year students through community building, finding resources and having conversations about college life and Elon.

Rusthoven, a communication design major, interned with Alamance Arts for the eight-week Campus Alamance program.

Moe, a finance and entrepreneurship major, spent the eight-week program interning with Milestone Wealth Management.

Twenty incoming first-year Elon students spent a week with on-campus organizations and community partners to get first-hand experience of service opportunities Elon provides.

Students, faculty and staff are invited to take part in this dialogue on Monday, Sept. 26 at 4:30 p.m. in Lakeside 212.

Over 70 employers and Elon student interns gathered at McKinnon Hall for the kick-off event for the Campus Alamance program.
