Buffie Longmire-Avital's Community Psychology course provided a pathway for students to become more engaged with the Burlington community.

The nonprofit organization presented its Bill Vestal Chairman's Award this week to Tammy Cobb, assistant director for community partnerships in the Kernodle Center for Service Learning and Community Engagement. 

Students from each fraternity and the Habitat for Humanity chapter joined forces to raise over $3,000 to support the construction of the 27th house sponsored by Elon’s campus Habitat chapter.

Alicia Paul has been active in her volunteering endeavors while at Elon and hopes to continue them upon graduating this year.
