Kernodle Center Volunteer Opportunities

Elon students and faculty have been using their free time to help with relief efforts in western North Carolina.

Elon University's America Reads America Counts program is a Federal Work Study program created in 1997 designed to not only educate youth, but to also provide college students with an outlet to fulfill their work study requirements and delve deeper into the community around us.

A team of student volunteers is working to make sure students are informed and ready to cast their ballot this November. An exciting opportunity for many of them who are also voting in a presidential election for the first time.

Applications are now open for the spring 2025 alternative breaks at Elon University.

"The Big Pick" offers a way to give back while spending time outdoors in a beautiful setting.

Campus Kitchen provides an opportunity for Elon University students to give back and learn more about the community where they live.

Gaw is the student LINCs coordinator for the organization.

Students participated in a range of experiences during Spring Break in locations including Costa Rica, California, South Carolina and California.

Johnson has worked with the Kernodle Center for Civic Life throughout her time at Elon and now serves as executive director for outreach and collaboration.
