The Elon Mock Trial program will compete Nov. 7-8 among two dozen teams from 14 universities in the 4th Annual Tobacco Road Invitational Tournament at Duke University. Elon is sending two teams representing students from all majors and departments to compete at the tournament.

Elon Law faculty and students volunteered their time Oct. 16-18, 2009, to serve as judges for the undergraduate Carolina Classic Mock Trial Invitational Tournament hosted by Elon Undergraduate Mock Trial as part of the American Mock Trial Association's Fall Invitational Tournament schedule.

Every room in the Koury Business Center was filled over Fall Break weekend for Elon’s 3rd annual Carolina Classic Mock Trial Tournament featuring 24 undergraduate teams from 16 universities, including Duke University, the University of North Carolina, Furman University and two-time national champion University of Virginia.

Katy Harriger, chair of the Wake Forest University Department of Political Science and constitutional scholar, will offer the Constitution Day address as the fall 2009 Law and Humanities Lecturer. The address will be held Thursday, Sept. 17, at 7 p.m. in the Isabella Cannon Room, Center for the Arts.
