Elon University School of Law will host Bridging Troubled Waters: Counseling Fundamentals for Academic Support Professionals, June 21-22, sponsored by the Law School Admissions Council. It is the first counseling skills training course to be offered in the 17 years of annual meetings following the inaugural conference that marked the establishment of the academic support field within legal education nationally.

Throughout the 2009-2010 school year, Leadership Fellows at Elon Law have been making a difference in the Greensboro community by participating in Groceries on Wheels. The nonprofit health and wellness organization provides food and social interaction opportunities to seniors with low incomes in Guilford County.

Elon Law professor Scott Gaylord, speaking this month with WGHP Fox 8 News and WFMY News 2, described United States Supreme Court precedent relating to the ability of government entities to institute prayer in public meetings.
