Living & Learning at Elon

Students, faculty and staff enjoyed great food and discussed empathy and how to talk to each other across differences.

The assistant professor of communications recently completed her film, “Waiting in the Midfield,” which highlights a Syrian refugee who relocated to Greensboro and his assimilation to a new country and culture.

At noon in Schar Hall, participants can enjoy free food — at a cost.

Members of the International Living Learning community facilitated a discussion on the topic “When the World is Your Home” with international faculty, staff, and students at the GNA’s March dinner.

The residential neighborhood now under construction on the former East Gym site will include three new buildings housing 309 students once it is complete in August 2018.

The NC Emerge 1G Summit was hosted and led by Elon's Examining Disparities in Educational Access Living Learning Community and drew attendees from students around the state.
