On Aug.. 15, 2024, faculty and staff gathered at Elon University for the fourth annual Global Pedagogy Workshop, focusing on how study away programs can better prepare students for the complexities of a rapidly changing world.

Current Elon students offer words of wisdom to the Class of 2028, which arrives on campus on Friday, Aug. 23.

Students Sol Addison '25 and Lila Snodgrass '26 gave oral presentations at two conference this summer. At the Unknot V conference for Knot Theory, Addison and Snodgrass's presentation was the only undergraduate talk to be featured without a parallel session.

Clark, professor of mathematics, attended the Mathematical Association of America's MathFest and, as outgoing chair of the Committee on Minicourses, monitored one of minicourses offered there. He also presented a short paper on the use of animations in multivariable calculus.

Ayesh Awad '24, Pagnapech Ngoun '26, Murilo Ferreira Lopes '27, Nicolas Alvarez '27 and five faculty Emily Elrod, Kristen Mazur, Brittany Riggs, Hwayeon Ryu and Aaron Trocki presented at MathFest, the annual meeting of the Mathematical Association of America on August 7-10, 2024 in Indianapolis.
