This year marked the 30th anniversary of the first Spring Undergraduate Research Forum, Elon University's annual showcase of the work of undergraduate researchers and their mentors.

The regional STEM conference for undergraduate students, called Integrating Research in Science (IRIS), was held at Elon campus for the first time on April 22, Saturday with more than 60 attendees from 15 different nearby colleges/universities.

The 30th anniversary of the university's most significant celebration of undergraduate research also sees its largest participation in history.
