Join us to learn more about Elon's M.S. in Accounting.  This session will be for Elon undergraduates.

Research co-authored by Assistant Professor Danny Lanier examines major customers’ supply chain power and real earnings management (REM) for the purpose of meeting or beating earnings targets.  

One hundred seventeen Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) attended the Nov. 9 event. 

The list is compiled annually by Poets & Quants, a business education news outlet, who also ranked the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business among the country’s top 50 undergraduate business programs.

Meeting highlights included Elon’s Beta Alpha Psi president winning the Project Run With It competition and Professor Susan Anderson receiving the Business Information Professional of the Year Award.

The Elon alumna and Master of Science in Accounting candidate has been selected to receive the $10,000 merit-based scholarship.

Christopher Pacitto ’17 received the award from the American Institute of CPAs in recognition of his outstanding performance on the CPA Examination.

Research co-authored by Assistant Professor Kristin Roland examines the relation between pension plan payout horizon and pension asset allocation using information from SFAS 132(R) mandated disclosures.

The Gerald Francis Outstanding Faculty Member of the Year, awarded by Elon’s Student Government Association, recognizes a faculty member who exemplifies excellence within teaching and mentoring.
