The N.C. Music Teachers Association and Music Teachers National Association each honored Fischer with their Teacher of the Year awards.

The Elon Contemporary Chamber Ensemble (ECCE) held its debut with “Unrelent” on Monday, Sept. 20 in Whitley Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. with a pre-show discussion about the background of the concert pieces and their experience related to the music.

Coleman, associate professor of music production & recording arts, completed the sound design work and composed a musical score for The Nemesis Club's newest escape game, "The Mogollon Monster."
