Stephen A. Futrell, professor and chair of the Department of Music, made two presentations in November at the Louisiana Music Educators Association state conference in Baton Rouge.

Elon University's music and music theatre departments hosted the state National Association of Teachers of Singing conference and auditions this past weekend. All winners are eligible to compete at the regional level in April 2009.
