Elliot Mazer, an engineer-producer for artists such as Neil Young, The Band, Linda Ronstadt and Gordon Lightfoot, has passed away at age 79.

Professor of Music and Artist in Residence Jon Metzger has had his method book, "The Art and Language of Jazz Vibes," enter into its sixth printing of its second edition this month. The text is in use by percussion and jazz studies students throughout the US, Canada, Europe, and South America.

The Elon Music Ambassadors will present a variety of music styles meant to lift spirits and promote peace during the ensembles fall concert "Songs of Unity and Peace."
