Polly Cornelius sings at Norfolk Chamber Consort Concert

Polly Butler Cornelius, a senior lecturer in the department of music, was a guest soloist at the Norfolk Chamber Consort's 43rd season opening concert on Oct. 3, 2011 in Norfolk, Va. The concert was part of the Ludwig Diehn Series in cooperation with the Norfolk Chamber Consort and the ODU Literary Festival. Cornelius, a soprano, performed selected songs by renowned composer Paul Bowles.

Elon Alum Receives Mu Phi Epsilon Award

Elon alumnus Andrew Oliver '11 recent received the Senior Achievement Award for the Southeast Province of Mu Phi Epsilon. Mu Phi Epsilon is an international professional music fraternity, and was chartered on campus in November 2008. It promotes the ideals of music,friendship and harmony.
