National and International Fellowships

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers research, study, and teaching opportunities to recent graduates in more than 140 countries, with approximately 2,200 grants awarded annually in all fields of study.

Chergui and Starr are the first Elon students to receive the Charles B. Rangel Graduate Fellowship and will join the nationally selective cohort of just 45 fellows.

Elon University seniors Christopher D’Inzeo, Samuel Ramirez and Genesis Tolbert have been awarded the NIH Undergraduate Scholarship.

Poff is pursuing a master of science in mechanical engineering and material science at Duke University.

Rugbart will study this summer at the University of Bristol through the program, which is sponsored by the U.S.-U.K. Fulbright Commission. He becomes the third Elon student selected in recent years for the prestigious program.

The professorship honors senior full professors for their career achievements in teaching, scholarship, leadership and service to Elon.

Dalrymple and Rugbart will both spend six months studying in Taiwan with the support of this $25,000 scholarship, which also guarantees them jobs with the federal government following graduation.

Hunter, a public health and statistics double major, an Odyssey Scholar and a Lumen Scholar, will pursue her master’s degree at University College London next academic year.
