National and International Fellowships

Elon is featured on the annual list of U.S. doctoral institutions whose graduates were offered Fulbright student awards for 2020-21.

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers research, study and teaching opportunities to recent graduates in more than 140 countries, with approximately 1,900 grants awarded annually in all fields of study.

Professor Ann Cahill will serve as faculty director of the office, and follows Professor Janet Myers, who has headed Elon’s fellowships initiative for the past 16 years and served as the office’s founding director.

Louisa Sholar '20, an Elon University Honors Fellow, was one of three recipients of the 2019 Portz Interdisciplinary Fellowship to support research for her honors thesis. 

An assistant professor and program coordinator for the arts administration interdisciplinary major, McGraw earned one of the first Fulbright Specialist Grants in the field of stage/theater management.
