Led by faculty members David Bockino, Colin Donohue and Staci Saltz, 45 first-year Communications Fellows traveled to Charlotte in November, visiting WSOC-TV, Pillar4 Media and NASCAR’s headquarters, and connecting with alumni working in the Queen City.

Six students were awarded funds for the Elon University Queen City Internship Grant.

The event was designed to give Elon Los Angeles students invaluable, face-to-face interactions with high-profile LA-based alumni who have established their prolific, professional careers in the city.
