Elon University’s Greek community hosted its 2nd Greek Summit on Feb. 4-5, with attendance from more than 125 student leaders, alumni, faculty and staff advisers, and national representatives of Elon's 22 current fraternities and sororities.

Elon University's Circle of the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society inducted its newest class on Feb. 6 in an afternoon ceremony in Holt Chapel.

The American College Personnel Association recently named Michelle Kusel, assistant director of the Center for Leadership, as one of five recipients for its latest Annuit Coeptis Emerging Professional Award.

Elon University staff and students made presentations this month at the annual conference of the National Society for Experiential Education held in Charlotte, N.C.

Christopher Gergen, co-author of Life Entrepreneurs: Ordinary People Creating Extraordinary Lives, along with his wife, Heather Graham, will be at Elon University Wednesday evening to share their leadership experiences and insight during the Center for Leadership's annual LEADStrong week.

On Sunday, October 3, 2010, the Isabella Cannon Leadership Program convened at its annual Opening Ceremonies, denoting the start of the program year. Keynote speaker, John Barnhill (‘92), Assistant Vice President for University Advancement, challenged students to give back, to become civically engaged, and to live the legacy of the program’s benefactor, Isabella Cannon. Additionally this year, the program unveiled the Hilaire C. Pickett Leadership Grant created by Isabella Cannon Leadership Program Alumni, Hilaire Pickett (’08). This grant started as Pickett’s legacy project while at Elon and has grown in the years since graduation.
