For the second consecutive year, the two journalism majors attended the popular conference for Black journalists and news industry professionals. They traveled this summer to the historic Alabama city with Assistant Professor Karen Lindsey.

The corporate partnership account manager for the Orlando Magic was lauded for his continued support of his alma mater at an event held during Elon’s Homecoming Weekend.

Twenty-two students from Elon University’s Communications Fellows program participated in a two-week trip in January to the Sunshine State, touring communications companies, meeting with industry professionals, and gaining insights into their future careers.

The assistant director of news content and his WPEC-TV team were recognized on Dec. 1 at the 42nd annual Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards ceremony in Orlando, Florida.
