Elon is among eight colleges and universities in the Greater Greensboro Theater Consortium, which in April is staging four plays based on Black lives and experiences in the inaugural Amplify Black Voices Festival.

The senior thesis concert features original choreography and production by the BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography seniors and highlights the unique artistry of the 14 members of the class.

Elon in LA is a semester-long domestic Study USA program, where students live in the heart of the Hollywood district in Los Angeles.

The concert will be held on Friday, March 4 at 7:30 p.m. at McCrary Theatre.

The concert will have three performances from Thursday, Feb. 24 through Saturday, Feb. 26, with a discussion and in-person showing at Yeager Recital Hall for Thursday night.

Associate Professor Proudfit published an essay in Theatre History Studies on Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' 2014 play "Appropriate."

The work with be performed in McCrary Theatre on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It's directed by Fred Rubeck, choreographed by Faythe Kelly with Christopher Rayis serving as music director.
