Join us Thursday, April 15, to virtually celebrate the honorees, young alumni who have achieved major professional success, serve as difference-makers in their communities and loyally support Elon.

Elon faculty and students from Departments of Physical Therapy Education, Exercise Science and Performing Arts partnered with educational institutions in India to virtually conduct the first National Biomechanics Day event in India.

The performance will be streamed at www.elonperformingarts.com at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 12, and Saturday, March 13. Friday's performance will be preceded by a conversation with the concert choreographers at 6:30 p.m.

The performance of the work by Kirsten Childs will be available at www.elonperformingarts.com at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 5.

The performance is directed by Assistant Professor of Performing Arts Keshia Wall and will be streamed at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 26 and 27 at elonperformingarts.com.

Elon Performing Arts' workshop premiere of the new musical was rehearsed and filmed last fall. It was co-written by Elon alumnus and faculty member Dan Gibson MTE '10 and is Elon's first filmed musical.

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers research, study and teaching opportunities to recent graduates in more than 140 countries, with approximately 1,900 grants awarded annually in all fields of study.

Watts is Elon’s first alum to be nominated for a Tony Award, receiving praise for his breakout performance as Ike Turner in “Tina: The Tina Turner Musical.”
