A longtime Broadway stage manager has gifted to the university a collection of notebooks and other production material that will give students in the Department of Performing Arts an insider’s view of acclaimed shows such as “Equus” starring Daniel Radcliffe and “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf” with Kathleen Turner.

Natalie Marrone, adjunct assistant professor of dance, conceived and directed an original Italian Earth Day event titled “Festa Della Terra” at the Barriskill Dance Theatre in Durham, N.C., on April 24.

Richard Gang will appear as Norman in "On Golden Pond" at the Open Space Cafe Theatre at 4609 W. Market Street, Greensboro.

Catherine McNeela, professor of performing arts and coordinator of Elon University's music theatre program, has been named the university's William S. Long Professor, an honor named for the institution's first president. McNeela's appointment was made by President Leo M. Lambert in recognition of her 20 years of outstanding teaching, scholarship and leadership in developing Elon’s nationally recognized Music Theatre program.
