The Janet M. Cope Scholarship in Physical Therapy will go toward Elon Physical Therapy students who have displayed honorable character during their time in the program.

Elon’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program and Physician Assistant Studies program welcomed new classes of students following a highly selective admissions process. The three-year, full-time DPT Program enrolled 46 students, and the 24-month, full-time PA Program enrolled 38 students.

The funding will allow the HOPE Clinic to complete approximately 140 additional patient visits in 2023.

The pair are the first legacy father-son students of Elon's Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

Christopher, an assistant professor of physical therapy education, has conducted extensive research looking at how running impact those who are pregnant.

The Elon Dance Science program had a very active fall semester attending and presenting at dance medicine and science conferences nationally and internationally.

The Department of Physical Therapy Education kicked off the graduation celebration for its Doctor of Physical Therapy students in their final year with a Graduation Celebration and Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, Dec. 7.

Students from the Nursing, Physician Assistant Studies and Physical Therapy programs within the school received their diplomas Friday, Dec. 9, during a commencement ceremony in Alumni Gym.
