At the annual Faculty/Staff Awards Luncheon on May 9, the Elon community honored 12 faculty members who are retiring this year.

Three outstanding alumni from Elon College, the College of Arts & Sciences, were honored Thursday at an annual awards celebration.

The university's top award comes with $20,000 to support and celebrate academic and creative achievements. 

This survey by the Elon University Poll, conducted in partnership with The Business Journals, tracks support for the expansive project and how locals believe it might impact their lives.

Ten alumni who graduated in the past 10 years were recognized with the Top 10 Under 10 Alumni Awards on April 14 for their professional success, service as difference-makers in their communities and loyal support of Elon.

Elon University, a Campus Consortium partner of the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, hosted an April 5 community lecture featuring veteran reporters Rachel Oswald, Reza Sayah and Tom Hundley.

Maurice “Bear” Tosé II has been selected for the two-year paid fellowship that is awarded to an individual who demonstrates an interest in philanthropy, public policy, community service and the nonprofit sector. 

Elon's departments of Communications, Political Science & Policy Studies, and History & Geography had representation at this annual convention.

The Department of Political Science and Policy Studies and the Department of Public Health Studies invite you to join us for a discussion of how the opioid epidemic is affecting North Carolina. The event is open to the public and will take place on Monday, April 16, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Lakeside 212.
