President Connie Ledoux Book on progress — the strength of the Elon community to imagine our future and then to build it.

In this piece written for The Conversation, President Connie Ledoux Book joins the presidents of the University of Washington and Bowdoin College in reflecting how free speech should be treated on college campuses. 

Reaching out to a variety of student populations, President Book will host an upcoming informal chat in the Gender and LGBTQIA Center to connect with LGBTQIA students.

On her first day in office, Elon’s new president was on hand for the final regular season intercollegiate basketball game in Alumni Memorial Gymnasium. The game ended in a big Phoenix win.

 

More than 50 Elon faculty members gathered in the Numen Lumen Pavilion Monday to welcome Connie Book, who was elected Sunday to serve as Elon's ninth president.
