Elon University has made available online customized announcements for graduating seniors and their parents to submit to hometown newspapers.

The article written by Registrar Rodney Parks for the higher ed industry publication focuses on how to use "big data" to enhance student success. 

The article notes Elon's leading role in transforming the traditional transcript and the challenges institutions face in trying to capture the full range of experiences students have. 

Elon University has released its President's List and Dean's List academic recognitions for the 2018 spring semester.

Six Elon staff members were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the university at a May 25 awards program during the annual staff appreciation celebration in Alumni Gymnasium.

The report by the Washington, D.C.-based New America think tank featured an overview of Elon's innovative approach to more fully describing the broad experiences of its graduates. 

The Groningen Declaration is an international network of education institutions, ministries of education, and employers focused on developing best practices and globally accepted standards for secure, citizen-centered consultation and portability of digital student data.
