In an effort to promote continued community building during a time of social distancing, Elon will offer a variety of virtual events and opportunities for students, faculty and staff to stay connected.

North Carolina black and African-American civic and political leaders shared their experiences with students.

Black and Africans-American civic leaders will join students, faculty and staff in McKinnon Hall to talk about their experiences in public life.

A series of events, coordinated by the Center for Race, Ethnicity and Diversity Education, will celebrate Black History Month throughout February at Elon.

The project, now in its fifth year at Elon, offers the opportunity for students, faculty and staff to share about their life stories, the differences and their similarities.

Groups of students competed in a Winter Term-themed trivia game for prizes.

Over 500 students currently participate in one of Elon's 25 Living Learning Communities. As you think about your on-campus living options and experiences for next academic year Residence Life encourages you to consider applying for a Living Learning Community (LLC).

Teams will compete for prizes at 8 p.m. in the Oak House.

Service opportunities, gatherings and other special programs at Elon during January will commemorate the life and work of the late civil rights leader.

Winter Term 2020 will offer students an array of exciting experiences that range from short-term, study-away programs to engaging student-led courses.
