Students, faculty and staff joined in to pack 30,000 meals that will be distributed around the world, including those areas of the Bahamas devastated by Hurrricane Dorian.

Students from both neighborhoods dined on March 6 with staff from Elon Dining, Environmental Services and Physical plant to explore issues of community.

The first Elon University English Language Teaching Symposium was held Saturday, Feb. 16, bringing together more than 100 local educators for presentations, active learning sessions and two keynote presentations by national leaders in English language education. The ELT Symposium focused on the theme of "Bridging Divides | Creating Community."  

The event demonstrated how difficult it can be to discern what's real and what's fabricated.

Author Julie Smith of Webster University argued that the amount, design and message of fake information contributes to its proliferation.

Faculty, staff and students gathered for a meal and conversation about how to find and evaluate credible information.
