Mullen delivered the inaugural Carol Ann Walker International Lecture on Nov. 11, one of several events at Elon University, to honor those in the armed forces on Veterans Day.

Three U.S. Air Force ROTC cadets and three U.S. Army ROTC cadets completed Elon's ROTC program and will enter military service.

Arran Ponte '23, Isabella Piccirilli '23 and Claire McGrath '23 hold top leadership positions in both the Air Force ROTC Detachment 605 and the Army ROTC Aggie Battalion.

Elon and North Carolina A&T ROTC cadets presented and raised the flag on Scott Plaza, as the community honored U.S. servicemembers on Veterans Day.

The ceremony will take place at 9:45 a.m. at Scott Plaza.
