Over the course of April 23 and 24, selected Elon Army ROTC cadets, Jack Blanchflower and David Smith, along with other cadets from the Aggie Battalion, based out of NC A&T State University, competed to earn the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge (GAFPB).

Elon senior Ted Slusher, a Cadet in the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 605, was awarded the Silver Valor Award on Thursday, March 17 for his voluntary act of heroism while serving as a Cadet Training Assistant at the Maxwell Six Field Training Unit at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama.

Elon Army ROTC hosted its third-annual German Armed Forces Military Proficiency Badge testing Feb. 28- March 1. Three Cadets - Jack Selbo, Elliott Nuss and William Patton - were awarded the German Armed Forces Badge for Military Proficiency in Gold.
