During a virtual town hall Wednesday, President Connie Ledoux Book shared about plans underway for fall semester while hearing from students about how they are adapting to online learning and life at home.

Donnelly, who is well known for her work for The New Yorker and CBS News, spoke Thursday night as part of Elon’s Liberal Arts Forum speaker series.

Formerly known as the Major Fair, the rebranded event brought together a variety of majors, minors and academic opportunities for first-year and undecided students to explore.

The annual commemoration includes a fundraising effort by the Student Government Association to support the 9/11 Memorial Fund.

The Student Government Association's 24th annual awards ceremony to recognize outstanding student organizations and leaders will be held on Tuesday, March 19. 

The concert, which will feature special guest Quinn XCII, will be the first to be held in Elon's new Schar Center. 

The commemoration will also include viewings of "United 93," a film about the hijacked plane that crashed in rural Pennsylvania during the terrorist attacks, in LaRose Theatre on Sept. 11. 

First-Year Elections Applications are due at 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 3. Mandatory Meeting for all candidates at 5:15 p.m. in Moseley 216 on Monday, Sept. 3.

The annual effort kicked off in 2011 thanks in part to the work of an Elon alum serving with the armed forces in Afghanistan.
