“Car Show” class event raises $1,685 for veterans organization

Members of the “Programming and Event Management” class in the Department of Sport and Event Management organized a “Car Show” event at the Holly Hill Mall in Burlington in November, raising $1,685 for the Walter B. Ellis American Legion Post 63.

Special ceremony honors one Elon graduate

It just didn’t seem right that Ashlee Crewe had to forfeit her college graduation to join teammates in Georgia this weekend for the NCAA softball tournament. So in front of family and friends, Crewe received her diploma Wednesday evening from Elon President Leo M. Lambert in a ceremony honoring the only senior on the Southern Conference championship team.
