Katie Nash, archivist and special collections librarian in Belk Library, has completed a rigorous examination and been named a Certified Archivist by the Academy of Certified Archivists, headquartered in Albany, NY.

Barry Bradberry, associate dean of admissions and financial planning at Elon University, was honored this month with the 2011 Chowan University Distinguished Alumni Award.
