Ross Wade, assistant director of career services for the School of Communications, has been elected president-elect of the NC Career Development Association (NCCDA) for the 2012-2013 term.

Graduating senior Shakinah Simeona used the Elon Job Network in 2010 to nab an internship that has led her into a career in sales.

"No sooner had the call gone out than responses came in and before you could say ‘I want a job’ the office was fully covered, appointments were made, students were seen, resumes were reviewed, leads were generated, work was done."

An annual program held April 19 celebrated the academic achievements and distinguished service of those involved with the business school.
