Celebrate Earth Week with a variety of activities planned on campus and around the community from April 19 through April 24.

The university has earned a STARS Silver Rating in recognition of its sustainability achievements from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).

Hassol, award-winning climate change communicator, will speak at Elon University on April 19 at 7:30 pm in McKinnon Hall.

Service, social and healing opportunities along with other special programs at Elon during January will commemorate the life and legacy of the late civil rights leader.

The university was selected for the list from a pool of more than 800 schools and recognized for its sustainability-related policies, practices and programs.

In the 14 years the Sustainability Faculty Scholars program has been at Elon, it identifies, supports and recognizes faculty who are interested in incorporating or enhancing a focus on sustainable principles and practices in their courses.

Danielle Purifoy, board chair of the North Carolina Environmental Justice Network, will discuss 'The Long Fight for Environmental Justice in North Carolina,' on October 5 at 7 p.m. in McKinnon Hall in the Moseley Center.

Elon Innovates has announced grant awards totaling $16,000 to seven proposals for the implementation of innovative projects on campus.

Elon University’s end-of-year move-out program will run from May 12 through May 31.

The virtual event was part of a series of activities planned for Earth Week 2021.
