The Office of Sustainability and Eco-Reps will host numerous events throughout the week to bring awareness to and inspire sustainable behavior change throughout campus.

Through this internship position, Contino has worked behind the scenes for both Campus Kitchen and Elon Dining, putting together various initiatives for the Elon community. Here's her story.

The demonstration, which served as the opening of Campus Sustainability Week at Elon, showed how much of the campus' landfill waste could actually be recycled or composted.

The Sept. 17 article, "Why College Campuses Are Going Green," highlights how Elon is imparting lessons to students about how to care for the natural environment.

Elon's Class of 2022 received stainless steel water bottles that are a part of Cupanion's Fill it Forward campaign, which provides access to clean water for millions of people globally.
